Introduction and Definitions

Information privacy concerns both individuals whose information is at stake and organisations that may be liable or have their reputations damaged should Customer Identifiable Information be inappropriately accessed, used, or disclosed.

Data Privacy concerns exist wherever personally identifiable information is processed or stored, regardless of whether the media is in digital form or otherwise. BLOCK7 Limited recognises the critical importance attached to data privacy and has adopted and implemented policies and procedures that are designed to restrict access to Customer Identifiable Information to ensure and preserve its confidentiality, integrity, and availability and that are consistent with applicable Laws and regulations and will only be used in the manner for which it was authorised and stored.

This privacy notice (the “Privacy Statement”) applies to all personal information/personal data processing activities conducted by BLOCK7 and Our privacy policies are tailored for the way in which You (“You”) means individuals who:
visit (“Visitors”) the website (“Site”); and (“Customers”) means the entity that signs-up or purchases any of Our related applications, products, services, subscription services and/or offerings; and (“User”) means an individual authorised by the Customer or Partner to access and use them where (“Partner”) means an entity that sells Our products and services or provides services or technology to Our Customers; and individuals who register to attend (“Attendees”) online demos, seminars, or corporate events.

For the purposes of this Privacy statement (“You” or “Your”) Personal Data may be collected, used, shared, and processed by different BLOCK7 lines of business according to Our policies and procedures stated on Our Site.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Legislation (Data Protection Act 2018), and the updated UK GDPR, a UK law which came into effect on 1st January 2021, BLOCK7 are both a Data Controller and a Data Processor in respect of Personal Data that we process in connection with Our business, including the products and services that we provide (where “Personal Data”, “Data Controller” and “Data Processor” have the meanings as defined in the Data Protection Legislation).

As a Data Processor we are authorised to capture and manage this data on behalf of a contract between Us and Our Customers. We limit the collection and management of this information to information necessary to achieve and provide Our product and/or service agreed in Our contract terms and conditions with Our Customers and any applicable legal obligations and governance.

We provide a subscription to certain products and services, and these are subsequently administered by Us as the licensee and under these circumstances BLOCK7 becomes a Data Processor and the Data Controller. As a Data Processor we respect the information that others have collected in performing their role as the Data Controller. As Our role of licenser, BLOCK7 has visibility of the information Our subscribers collect enabling Us to provide technical and user support all of which is by an agreed contract.
In this notice, references to (“We,” “Us,” “Our” or “BLOCK7”) are references to BLOCK7 Limited. We shall ensure that all personnel who have access to and/or process Personal Data are obliged to keep the Personal Data confidential and shall not transfer any Personal Data outside of the United Kingdom unless the necessary conditions are fulfilled according to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): (a) BLOCK7 has provided appropriate safeguards in relation to the transfer; and (b) the data subject has enforceable rights and effective legal remedies; and (c) BLOCK7 complies with its obligations under the Data Protection Legislation by providing an adequate level of protection to any Personal Data that is transferred.

BLOCK7 will assist You in responding to any request in ensuring compliance with its obligations under the Data Protection Legislation with respect to security, breach notifications, impact assessments and consultations with supervisory authorities or regulators.

Pursuant to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable laws and regulations, individuals may have data subject rights enabling them to request to access, delete, correct, remove, or limit the use, or receive a copy of their Personal Data in BLOCK7’s possession or for which BLOCK7 is otherwise responsible. This Privacy Statement was last updated on the Last Revised date at the top of this statement. Scope

General Privacy Policy addresses information We collect in connection with Your use of BLOCK7 websites, mobile applications, and social media pages that link to the General Privacy Policy, Your interactions with BLOCK7 during in-person meetings at BLOCK7 facilities or at BLOCK7 events, and in the context of other online or offline sales and marketing activities.

GDPR Statement describes how We control and manage Personal Data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Services Privacy Policy describes Our privacy and security practices that apply when handling: (a) services Personal Data to perform, Technical Support, Cloud, and other services on behalf of BLOCK7’s Customers; and (b) Personal Data contained in systems operation data generated by the interaction of end-users of these services with BLOCK7’s systems and networks.

Payment Privacy Policy describes Our privacy and security practices and Your legal privacy rights that apply when handling both Personal Data and financial information that You provided when You make payments for the subscription services and/or offerings that BLOCK7 make available to Our Customers.
R & D Privacy Policy describes Our processing of Personal Data in connection with BLOCK7’s intelligence and system learning activities to analyse, develop, and improve BLOCK7’s products and services, and for security and compliance purposes.

Cookie Policy describes how We are using Personal Data when You are using Our Site and consenting to Our use of cookies and other tracking technology in accordance with this policy and terms of use.Advertising Privacy Policy addresses how BLOCK7 facilitates the collection and use of marketing and interest-based information to help enable interest-based advertising by BLOCK7 and Our advertising third party sources.
